Patient term description
Anything that stops a person from having or enjoying sex they would like to have, or difficulty in normal sexual activity. This can be due to various reasons, such as reduced desire or loss of desire to have sex; difficulty in having sex due to involuntary spasms in the vagina during sex, in particular during vaginal penetration; or erectile dysfunction (difficulty getting or maintaining an erection).
