Suicide

Patient term description

Suicide is when someone ends their own life. It is a very tragic response to difficult situations and feelings. NOTE: If you are having thoughts of self-harm or suicide, it is a mental health emergency and please get emergency advice by calling 999, going straight to A&E or calling your local crisis team.
